What about the rest of us?
I know that many of you might say, it's easy for an artist to be creative with kids... what about those of us who aren't talented in that way?
Good question. My answer is that what matters most isn't what you actually do, just what you try. What kids need are experiences which open the door for them to use their imaginations. Looking at paintings, making up stories, dancing to music -- you don't need special talent to do those. Just commit time to go on your own adventure with your child. And maybe my ideas will spark your own.
