Juggling "The Cascade"
Step One

The most important part of juggling is the first step. You need to get very good at throwing and catching.

So start with one ball. Throw it up so that it comes down just about even with your other shoulder. Keep your eyes up where the ball gets to its peak.

next step?

This means that you can't watch your hand as it catches the ball. That can be hard. But the more you practice, the easier it will get. Just keep throwing and catching one ball until the throw comes down about the same place every time. You'll see how important that is once you get more than one ball going in the air. Also, remember to throw the ball with your other hand, too.
